windows 7 + execution servers
[Migrated content. Thread originally posted on 05 July 2011]
I have a windows 7 laptop and I'm just trying to set up silkcentral. Trying to set up a new execution server but have no idea where to start - what do I enter for the location proxy? tried localhost but it did not like it. How do I create a new execution server?

The location is just a grouping of execution servers. If everything is on your machine you do not have to enter here any data.
Once you have a location you have to create an execution server in this location. For the execution server it should be sufficient to select physical execution server and enter "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" and leave the other data as it is.
