'PDCE: 200 - Internal error in SNMP engine: SNMP++: SNMP request timed out' error returned when attempting to monitor SNMP measures within Silk Performance Explorer 18.5'

A primary reason for the 'PDCE: 200 - Internal error in SNMP engine' response within Silk Performance Explorer can be attributed to problems with the SNMP daemon running on the target server.

However there is a known issue within Silk Performer / Performance Explorer 18.5 that returns the same error, even though the SNMP environment / infrastructure is configured and working accordingly. This has been recognized as a bug and will be addressed with the release of Hotfix 2 for Silk Performer 18.5 and officially within Silk Performer 19.0.
