Action and Page Timers within Silk Performer
It should be noted that Action and Page Timers are applicable to alternate testing approaches within Silk Performer.
For Browser Driven Loadtesting (AJAX), only Action Timers are taken into consideration, whereas when testing at the protocol level, Page Times are measured.
Therefore when reviewing the client measures of the loadtest results, only one of the timer groups will be included, dependent on which Project type selected.
Since the release of Silk Performer 10.0, Silk Performer no longer treats measured times as custom timers in browser-driven tests, but introduced new action timers.
With this enhancement, each virtual user action like BrowserNavigate or BrowserClick has its own action time, which is the time it takes the virtual user to complete this action, including processing and rendering in the browser.
