Can Html or parsing verifications in Silk Performer scripts be deactivated?

Once verification code has been added to your script, it can only be deactivated by manually commenting-out the relevant verification code. There is no setting in Silk Performer's Active Profile which will allow this code to be toggled on / off.

The need for commenting applies to any of the following verifications added to your script:

- Parse selected Text into a Variable;
- Parse selected Text in Table into a Variable;
- Verify Page Title;
- Verify Page Digest;
- Verify selected Text;
- Verify selected Text in Table.

Care should be exercised when commenting out the verification code. As a rule, any parsing or verification function will precede the API call to which it applies. By way of illustration, the following code snippet:

would look like this after the html-title verification code has been commented out:

It is worth mentioning that it is always preferable to comment, rather than delete, code until you have verified that your actions have not broken your script.
