Can SilkPerformer Recorder be started from the command line?

Can SilkPerformer Recorder be started from the command line?

There is no way of starting the recorder from a command line.

We have functions which can compile a script or start a load test from a command line but in most cases it would not make sense to automate starting of the recorder as actions need to be performed when the recorder is started. However there may be some scope for using SilkTest to automate the SilkPerformer Record Process depending on the circumstances.

For information about starting SilkPerformer commands from the command line see:

How do I run a SilkPerformer loadtest from the command line or from a batch file?
