Can SilkPerformer record Citrix Published Applications rather than Session Sharing?

Can SilkPerformer record Citrix Published Applications rather than Session Sharing?

Yes, this can be done by testing via a Citrix NFuse session. NFuse is a Citrix web interface used for accessing Citrix Published Applications. Essentially it allows system administrators to "web-enable" non-web applications and to specify which users can access certain applications.

A good description of how NFuse works can be found at TechRepublic. Note: The content and accuracy of the TechRepublic article has not been verified by Borland who cannot accept responsibility for any inaccuracies on external sites.

A tutorial on how to load test applications accessed via NFuse accompanies SilkPerformer. It can be found at START | ALL PROGRAMS | SILKPERFORMER | DOCUMENTATION | TUTORIALS | CITRIX - CHAPTER 4.
