Does SilkPerformer 2006 support Internet Explorer 7.0?

SilkPerformer 2006 was not tested with Internet Explorer 7.0 (IE7), as it was not released when SilkPerformer shipped.

Although there is no IE7 browser type defined you can easily configure a "custom browser" in SilkPerformer to simulate any browser / web client.

Microsoft defined the following User-Agent headers which are sent when using IE7:

Option 1 - Set browser in code:

 transaction TWebInit
    WebSetUserAgent("Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)");
  end TWebInit;
