Does SilkPerformer support Microsoft Outlook"s Web Access?

Microsoft Outlook’s Web Access uses WebDav which is supported by SilkPerformer. In order to record you need to select:
FILE | NEW PROJECT | APPLICATION TYPE | INTERNET | WEBDAV

This will make use of SilkPerformer’s WebDAV SilkEssential which modifies
SETTINGS | ACTIVE PROFILE | RECORD | WEB | RECORDING Tab, in order to allow the following headers specified in RFC 2518 to be recorded:

  • Depth
  • Destination
  • If
  • Lock-Token
  • Overwrite
  • Timeout
  • Brief

Since SilkPerformer 6.5 two additional headers were added to the WebDAV SilkEssential:

  • Translate
  • Notification-Type

Since SilkPerformer 6.5 the WebDav project type can now be found at:
FILE | NEW PROJECT | APPLICATION TYPE | WEB BROWSER | WEBDAV (MS Outlook Web Access)

If you require assistance with testing Microsoft Outlooks" Web Access or any other WebDAV based application please contact Support.
