How can Centura Reports be distributed to other users if I do not have access to a printer?

How can Centura Reports be distributed to other users if I do not have access to a printer?

After querying the Results Repository, you can "Print" the report into Centura Report Builder, which ships with Silk Performer. This creates an easily read report, suitable for printing and distribution, making it ideal for manager reports.

However, if a printer is not available, you may have difficulties in distributing your Centura reports. The native .qrp report file will be automatically saved to the root of your Silk Performer folder (as a "PerfrepXX.qrp" file), but it cannot be opened via Silk Performer on another machine as there is no File | Open load option in the Centura Report Builder component.

Further, there is no way to associate a program with an executable to open the file via Windows Explorer.

The easiest way to overcome this problem is to save your Centura Report as an image file which can be readily viewed in any browser or image application. To do so please follow the steps below;

  1. Execute your load test data via Results Manager. Once the report has been generated, click on the "Print" button. This will generate a *.qrp file and load it in Centura Report Builder;

  2. Take a screenshot of the Centura Report Builder window. Be sure to use an image utility which allows you to capture the full vertical height of the Centura window, not just that part of the screen is which visible at any one time.

  3. Save the resulting image in .jpeg format, and distribute.
