How can I ensure that while recording large SQL statemenets the function recorded is not split over two lines in the bdf file and thus causing compile errors?

When recording against an application that produces long SQL statements Silk Performer may report the error:
Compile error: SYN 2 :identifier expected

when compiling the script.  The reason for this is that the default Max line length for scripts is set to 128 characters. As a result of this long SQL statements may be split over two lines causing problems upon compilation of the script.

To resolve this please do the following

Go to Settings | Active Profile | Record | Script
Change the max line length to an adequate line length and please re-record your script once again.
