How do we simulate multiple IP addresses of virtual users when running WAP loadtest?

How do we simulate multiple IP addresses of virtual users when running WAP loadtest?

Every mobile device has a device ID that is registered with the wireless service.

To assign individual IP addresses to virtual users, you first setup multiple IP addresses for the network device.

You do this with the SilkPerformer System Configuration Manager:-
TOOLS | SYSTEM CONFIGURATION MANAGER | IP ADDRESS MANAGER

Once you assign the IP addresses you need to reboot the machine.
Then assign each IP address to a different virtual user by using the WapSetOptionStr function.

dcltrans
transaction TInit
begin
WapSetOptionStr(WAP_STR_LocalHost,"91.155.2.22"+(string(GetUserID())));
// gets the unique user id of a vUser and uses this as the last digit of the ip address
end TInit;
