How to I customize the Ora8SetBinary functions scripted for parameters of SQLT_NUM data type?

How to I customize the Ora8SetBinary functions scripted for parameters of SQLT_NUM data type?

SQLT_NUM is the Oracle NUMBER data type for external data type binding. Numeric values of this type are returned from the OCI interface recorded in Oracles propriatary 21-byte binary format which results in the Ora8SetBinary call with the hex data.

To customize the value it is possible to change the bind type and specify a numerical value, consider the recorded statements below: Ora8Bind(ghStmt0, "1", SQLT_NUM, 0, 1); Ora8SetBinary(ghStmt0, "\hC11F000000000000000000000000000000000", 21); //Oracle interprets this as 30 To customize the above value the bind type can be changed to SQLT_INT and Ora8SetInt used: Ora8Bind(ghStmt0, "1", SQLT_INT, 0, 1); // change bind type
Ora8SetInt(ghStmt0, "1", 30); // specify numerical value
