If a certain condition is met how can I send an email using my script?

If you wish to use a SilkPerformer script to send an email under a certain condition, one way to do this would be using an Event Handler and ‘WebSmtp’ functions.

See the following showing how these ‘WebSmtp’ functions can be used, within a function.

The above function then needs to be called in the script.

The attached Script ‘Email.zip’ contains a full script, using the above example and an Event Handler to catch the last error.  This then sends an email containing that error number in the message body.
