My agent(s) CPU is at 100% for the duration of my loadtest, what could be the reason for this ?
The can be different reason for high CPU on agents.
1) Check no other software is being run on the agents when your test is running.
2) Disable any screensavers running on agents as some screen savers can use a lot of CPU
3) Check the CPU on these agent machines when you are not running a loadtest :-
If it is high then there is something else causing this problem on the machines, speak to your IS people.
If it is low / normal then check the specifications of the machines as stated in the SilkPerformer Installation Guide, to ensure they are adequate.
4) If the machines meet the requirements as stated in the documentation then check your script for any scripting errors that may be causing loops etc.
Note that some parsing functions can put stress on your machine is not used correctly. Please refer to the on-line help on proper use of these functions.
