Silk Performer with Server Name Indication.

Silk Performer with Server Name Indication.

Silk Performer 16.0 has added support for the TLS extension 'Server Name Indication' (SNI).

Trying to record secure sites which use SNI with earlier versions of Silk Performer will result in an SSL handshake failure, and the browser reporting that 'This page can't be displayed'. This is because Silk Performers SSL handshake does not include the -servername parameter required by the server.

It's possible to check the TLS extensions being used by recording the network traffic with a tool such as Wireshark. If your server uses SNI, please upgrade to the latest version of Silk Performer.
