This program cannot display the webpage when generating Overview Report
When attempting to generate the Overview report, in SilkPerformer 16.0, a message “This program cannot display the webpage” can be displayed.
The “More Information” option says:
This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:
• Internet connectivity has been lost.
• The website is temporarily unavailable.
• The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
• The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
This issue specifically only occurs when there is a high number of Web Forms of type ‘Hits failed’.
The issue occurs in SilkPerformer 16.0 due to a change in the file ‘overview.xsl’ within SilkPerformer 16.0. By default this file is in the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Silk\Silk Performer 16.0\Include
The issue will be resolved in a future release of SilkPerformer, however in the meantime the issue can be worked around with a previous version of the ‘overview.xsl’ file (attached here as 7384.overview.zip). You can download this file, and replace the existing one in the ‘Include’ folder (mentioned above) which should resolve the issue in in the short term, until we permanently resolve the issue.
