TrueLog Explorer "Customize Session Handling" wizard does not recognize certain session ids.
By default Silk Performer TrueLog Explorer does not recognize session information which has a semi-colon ";" as a delimiter; for example if the session information returned by the server looks like "value = 76619;".
In the screenshot below you can see that even though the value is recognized as session information it is not customizable via the TrueLog Explorer. In the example below there was no BDL occurrence of the value found and the TrueLog states that "No relevant differences were found in the HTML content of the replayed content and the recorded content".
As the TrueLog Explorer does not recognize the above value as customizable session information a user will not be able to right-click and use the "Customize Session Handling Wizard" to parse the dynamic value. This problem occurs because a semi-colon has not been added as a pre-defined set of delimiters and thus the TrueLog Explorer does not recognize any data which contains a semi-colon as session information.
The issue can be resolved by adding the semi-colon as a delimiter in the TrueLog Explorer; to do this a user should do the following:
- Click SETTINGS | OPTIONS | COMPARE TAGS HTML TAB
- Scroll to the end of the list and add a semi-colon ";"
- Use the "Customize Session Handling Wizard" again
