Using the customization wizard to modify an already created parameter
The Parameter Wizard can be accessed by highlighting the value to customize, right-click and select ‘Customize Value’ or ‘Customize Selected String’ as highlighted below. It can also be accessed via SCRIPT | CREATE NEW PARAMETER.
It is not possible to use the wizard to make change to an already created parameter. So, when a customization has been performed it is not possible to enter this wizard again to change that.
Instead the options would be to:
1. Manually edit the code to implement the required changes.
2. If using the wizard is required, remove the code originally entered into the script by the wizard. This will allow the use of the wizard for this parameter again.
For example, customizing the Zipcode as shown in the screenshot above would result in the following in the script under the dclform section.
"autoquote:zipcode" := psZipcodesColumn31,
You would also have the following lines of code in either TInit or the beginning of TMain depending on the options selected during creation, and they should also be removed:
FileCSVLoadGlobal(hZipcodes1, "Zipcodes.csv", ",");
psZipcodesColumn31 := FileGetCol(hZipcodes1, 3, STRING_COMPLETE);
When these entries have been removed it will be possible to customize the required value using the Parameter wizard again.
