What type of Terminal Services License is required to run GUI Level Tests with SilkPerformer?

From Silk Performer"s point of view, it does not matter which type of Terminal Services Licenses you use. From an ease of use perspective we recommended that you use the "per Device" Terminal Services Licenses. However you will be able to execute a GUI-Level loadtest in Silk Performer as long as you have the required number of Terminal Services Licenses available for checkout by a Terminal Service Session.

There are currently two types of Terminal Server licenses; "per Device" and "per User" Licenses:

• A TS Device CAL permits one device (used by any user) to conduct Windows Sessions on any of your servers.

• A TS User CAL permits one user (using any device) to conduct Windows Sessions on any of your servers.
