When I add dll and ocx files in the COM Interface dialog of the Application Profile I get the error "Cannot read type-library of file"
You can only add a file to the COM Interfaces dialog in the Application Profile if it actually contains type-library information.
Files that normally contains type-library information have .tlb, .dll, .and .exe extensions although type-library information can sometimes be found in other file types also.
In some cases the files mentioned above do not always contain type library information, this is because dll"s etc are also used for non COM functionality, and as such SilkPerformer will not allow them to be imported if it cannot find type-library information in the file.
If you are unsure which files to import, check with the developer of the COM application exactly which files are necessary for the application to function correctly.
