When monitoring Oracle v$systat why do I see the error "PDCE: 701 - Query for Ltci performance counter update failed"

When monitoring Oracle v$systat why do I see the error "PDCE: 701 - Query for Ltci performance counter update failed"

Currently in order perform Oracle v$systat monitoring you are required to have both the SAM and OCI license in SilkPerformer otherwise you will encounter the above error message. To verify if you have both licenses Open SilkPerformer and go to "HELP | ABOUT", once here verify if the check boxes are checked for the features OCI and SAM.

As this error message is a known issue in SilkPerformer which prevents SAM users for monitoring Oracle v$systat unless they have an OCI license.

Note This issue has been resolved in 7.5
