When performing SSL based tests why might I get the error "1236 The network connection was aborted by the local system." ?

When performing SSL based tests why might I get the error "1236 The network connection was aborted by the local system." ?

These errors may occur when running an SSL test against a server that does not support auto-detection of SSL version, which by default SilkPerformer does during the SSL handshake. In the first instance you should check with your developers if your application supports SSL auto-detection. If it does not then you can specify the required SSL version in

SETTINGS | ACTIVE PROFILE | RECORD Button | INTERNET Icon | SECURITY Tab

If you have no access to the system developers you can try changing the SSL version in this setting. If this does not resolve the problem then contact Support.
