When testing Oracle Forms 6i, 9i or Oracle Applications 11i using SilkPerformer 2008, why are no OraForms* functions recorded?

When testing Oracle Forms 6i, 9i or Oracle Applications 11i using SilkPerformer 2008, why are no OraForms* functions recorded?

This may be due to a known issue where no protocol is selected for the generated Recorder Application Profile and affects the project types Oracle Forms 6i, 9i and Oracle Applications 11i. There is a hotfix available that resolves this issue in Silk Performer 2008, if you require "SP77_HotFix_05" please contact technical support. This does not affect Silk Performer"s support for Oracle Forms 10g or Oracle Applications 12i.
