Why am I not getting the whole value when reading from a CSV or RndFile?

Why am I not getting the whole value when reading from a CSV or RndFile?

One reason you may get only part of the value you want to read could be that you are using the delimiter for that file type in the value.

The default delimiter for a RndFile is a ; (semi colon) and for a CSV file a , (comma). If these are included in the file content (e.g. a cookie for example has both) then this will be determined to be the end of the value and you will only get what is before the semi colon or comma.

For example the following cookie value held in a text file would would incorrectly call the delimiter of both a CSV and a RndFile:

userEmail=abc922@hotmail.com; domain=qa.borland.com; path=/; expires=Thu, 08 Feb 2018 19:57:28

The FileCSV* functions contain a parameter that allow you to set a custom delimiter.
