Why are no measures produced in dynaTrace diagnostics?

If no measures are produced in dynaTrace diagnostics, restarting the dynaTrace diagnostics server and/or the application under diagnosis will often rectify the situation.

If this does not resolve the issue then it is possible that you have defined more dynaTrace diagnostics agents than you are licensed for.

To check if this is the case you should open the "Server.0.0.log" file (default location: "C:\PROGRAM FILES\DYNATRACE DIAGNOSTICS 2.5\LOG") and check for the following entry:

WARNING [AgentCenter] License violation: disabling capture for agent

This message is an indication that you have defined more dynaTrace diagnostics agents than you are licensed for and you should remove one or more of these agents.
