Why are some Charts and other Visual elements missing from my Printed Overview Report?

Why are some Charts and other Visual elements missing from my Printed Overview Report?

When printing the Overview Report from the Performance Explorer; some charts and other visual elements can sometimes be missing from the Printed report.

For example; the Charts generated for the "Slowest Web pages" and "Largest Web Pages" from the "Ranking" section of the Report may appear to be missing from the printed report. You may also find that some text and or results data is lost due to formatting problems, caused by the absence of visual elements on the same or previous pages.

This issue is caused by the browser itself, but can be resolved by implementing the following changes in Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox

  • For Internet Explorer enabling the setting: "Print Background Colours and Images" by going to:

START | CONTROL PANEL | INTERNET OPTIONS | ADVANCED (tab)

  • For Mozilla enable the setting: "Print Background Colours and Images" by going to:

FIREFOX | FILE | PAGE SETUP | FORMAT & OPTIONS

Enabling the Options will allow you to Print the Overview Report exactly as it is rendered in the browser.
