Why do I get the error "StInitSession(GUI-Level Testing Replay: 10 - Virtual user information, SilkTest Connection timeout reached)" during a loadtest?

Why do I get the error "StInitSession(GUI-Level Testing Replay: 10 - Virtual user information, SilkTest Connection timeout reached)" during a loadtest?

The "StInitSession(GUI-Level Testing Replay: 10 - Virtual user information, SilkTest Connection timeout reached)" error can be reported if you have specified credentials for a domain user in the StInitSession command. Currently the Terminal Service support for GUI-Level testing in SilkPerformer supports only local users, therefore you must create local users:

  • START | SETTINGS | CONTROL PANEL | ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS | COMPUTER MANAGEMENT
  • Expand the "Local Users and Groups" node.
  • Select the "Users" directory.

  • Right Click and select "New User"
  • Enter the details and uncheck the option "User must change password at next logon"
