This video provides information for Troubleshooting License Server communication issues

If 'Test Connection' fails try the following

  • Ping <MachineName>
  • Telnet <MachineName> 5461
  • Check if License Server machine is on different domain or subnet of network
  • Check for Firewall or Anti-Virus blocking communication
  • Check Silk Launcher Service is running
  • Install SilkPerformer locally on License Server
