Application build on Tableau software accessed over web- which protocol best for recording

Application build on Tableau software accessed over web- which protocol best for recording. Also when opening the application over web then no login required and it pulls AD credentials which we use to login in System. so how can we manage multiple sessions with such application. But yes before that we need to know right protocol for recording. With HTTP looks bit difficult.

Hi Shakti,

When using a BDLT approach the BrowserSetAuthentication function will only work if a virtual user is prompted for credentials by the application being tested.

If the application automatically uses the logged in user's credentials (from Active Directory) then all users running from a particular agent will use the same login credentials.

It is possible to specify the user that each agent will use:

- To use the same user for all agents, select the "Use particular user account check box" in the system settings.

Full details are in Help under, "Configuring Agents to be Launched Under a Specific User Account"

- To use a different user for each agent, then use the System Configuration Manager.

Full details are in Help under, "Configuring a User Account to Run the Perfrun Process"

Best Regards,

Neil
