Hi Patrick,

Essentially there would be no difference when using each Browser function to verify the contents of the textContents property. For example, the following will render the same result - assuming the verification text is correct:

BrowserVerifyText("//td[@textContents='MAIN MENU']", "MAIN MENU");

BrowserVerifyProperty("//td[@textContents='MAIN MENU']", "textContents", "MAIN MENU");

Overall, the main difference however between the functions, is that the BrowserVerifyText will only be used to verify the textContents property, whereas the BrowserVerifyProperty will for the verification of any property associated with a specific web element.

Further information on each function can be found within the Silk Performer help - SILK PERFORMER | HELP | CONTENTS.
