IE Title Bar Missing

Hi Community! First time post - I looked around the forum a bit but didn't see this question addressed before. I've run into a little problem recording and playing back Citrix Scripts. When I record a script that launches a web application through Citrix XenApp, the IE Title Bar (needed for some validations) is missing from the final render. See my screenshots for a glimpse from a TrueLog - the title bar is captured and a CitrixWaitForWindow(Event_CaptionChange) is recorded as well (see first image), but this check is failing on playback and TrueLogs reveal that the title bar is missing (see second image).

Have read some material online and talked to my own endpoint guys (IE experts) and they're not sure why; additionally, when I open this web application normally as a user, the title bar appears and remains.

For the record, the Citrix app is in IE11. Am working on Performer 15.5.0.6260.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

RE: IE Title Bar Missing

Hi Nick.

There's quite a bit on-line about IE11s disappearing title bar generally but can you confirm if this problem happens during record AND replay?

Can you have a look at the ICA data and see if there's anything in there which might give you a clue. Does it for instance contain a Title=* tag?

Have you compared the record and replay headers in Performer (if record and replay show different behavior) to see if there are any missing HTTP Headers which might account for the difference. Check the User-Agent headers for instance in the preceding web functions to make sure they are identical and not affecting the server response.

Best regards,
Ciaran.

RE: IE Title Bar Missing

Hi Ciaran, thanks for those suggestions. I ended up figuring it out, it was a simple Citrix administrative setting. The ICA file suggestion is a good one - I never got eyes on the ICA file to check that setting, but Citrix has a setting to hide the application title bar in any non-seamless delivery which we had turned on in our environment.
