Can SilkTest access .Net .dlls using the 4Test dll calls?
No. The 4Test dll call relies on the .dll having an export table that exposes the public functions within it. .Net dlls do not have an export table, it is only created with dlls written in C or C++.
There are two solutions to the problem:
- The .net dll developer must use the SilkTest Extension kit to expose the functions
- The developer can write a COM wrapper to go around the .net dll and expose its functions
We do not offer any support for either scenario.
