Can a SilkTest script be retrieved using the temporary files created when a script is compiled?

Can a SilkTest script be retrieved using the temporary files created when a script is compiled?

No. The files which are created when a script or frame file is being compiled, are only used to store temporary compilation details when compilation is taking place. They do not contain the completed original script and cannot be used to reconstruct either of these files if data is lost.

The only way to protect against such an eventuality would be to back up the scripts. Use of a source control utility such as PVCS or CVS is also recommended.
