Cannot find Silk Test Administration Folder

From Windows 8 onward you will find that the Administration folder is no longer located in the Silk Test folder in the Windows start menu.

To access the Database Maintenance utility, please navigate to the following directory and launch “STWMaint.exe”.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Silk\SilkTest\ng\gui

To find this location please perform the following steps:-

  1. Navigate to the C: drive on your machine.
  2. Open the “Program Files (x86)” folder (if 64 bit system) else select the “Program Files” folder
  3. Open the “Silk” folder.
  4. Open the “SilkTest” folder.
  5. Open the “ng” folder.
  6. Open the “gui” folder.
  7. Click and open the “STWMaint.exe”. File.




  • The Database Maintenance Tool should now be loaded and ready for use.
