Data is truncated to 255 characters when using a DSN to read an Excel spreadsheet

This is a known problem with the Microsoft ODBC driver and is not a Silk Test issue. The problem arises because the ODBC driver parses the first eight lines of the spreadsheet to determine the length of the data to be returned; if all of those rows are of 255 characters or less then any subsequent rows that exceed 255 characters will be truncated.

A possible solution would be to put the longest data string into one of the first eight rows.
