During replay against IE 8 the SilkTest Classic Agent is not recognizing the children of a Java Modal Window.

During replay in IE 8 SilkTest is not recognizing the children of a Java Modal Window; however if IE7 is used then the Children of the modal window are recognized during record and replay. For example , the following Java Modal Children are defined in the include file

[-] JavaJFCTextField JavaxSwingJTextField1
[ ] tag "$javax.swing.JTextField[1]"
[-] JavaJFCTextField JavaxSwingJTextField2
[ ] tag "$javax.swing.JTextField[2]"

Then if you execute the following method call

ModalDialog.JavaxSwingJTextField1.SetText("Test")

It returns the following error:

[ ] ModalDialog.DialogBox("Java Applet Window")
[ ] *** Error: Window "[JavaJFCTextField]$javax.
swing.JTextField[1]" was not found

This issue has been confirmed as a defect and had the defect tracking id: 45102. The issue will be resolved with the release of SilkTest 2009 Service Pack 1.
