During the Data Driven Tutorial, I am recieving the error, "BrowserChild is not defined or ambiguous", how is this resolved?

When attempting to go through the Segue Data Driven Tutorial called "Creating a Data Driven Test Case". On Page 3 - Step 3, after clicking on "Data Drive Testcase", I receive the following error;

"c:Program FilesSegueSilkTestProjectsDataDrivenTutorialframe.inc(2): Window class BrowserChild is not defined or ambiguous"

This happens if the extensions are not enabled correctly.

  1. Check you Options->Extensions->Internet Explorer 6 is IE DOM enabled.
  2. Check Start->Programs->SilkTest->Extension Enabler->Internet Explorer 6 is IE DOM enabled.
  3. Check Options->Runtime->Use Files is equal to: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Desktop\data driven tutorial\frame.inc, extend\explorer.inc

This will solve your problem and the project will compile successfully.
