How can SilkTest return the "tagName" of an Html element from a webpage?
The "tagName" is a read-only string property that specifies the name of the Html tag which defined the object. This information can only be retrieved from the source code of the webpage being tested. The SilkTest ExecMethod() function can be used to return this information for a given object. The following example uses http://www.google.com/ as the sample webpage, the code will return the "tagName" of the "Google Search" pushbutton.
[ ] Print (Google.GoogleSearch.ExecMethod ("tagName"))
The value returned for the pushbutton is "INPUT".
