How can text files be accessed and manipulated on a target machine where a SilkTest Agent is installed?

How can text files be accessed and manipulated on a target machine where a SilkTest Agent is installed?

Rather than use the conventional File* functions as employed on a local machine, SilkTest has implemented specific functions for target or remote machine testing. These are usually the File* functions prefixed with SYS_. For example;

SYS_FileOpen()
SYS_FileExists()
SYS_FileReadLine()
SYS_FileWriteLine()
SYS_CopyFile()
SYS_FileClose()

For a complete list of these functions and others, as well as discussions and examples, please visit the SilkTest Help Index searching under "SYS_".
