How can the background colour be changed on the Blue Express emulator screen?

Sometimes when testing a terminal emulator within Blue Express, text rendered by the host will appear in a colour other than the standard green. This can be a problem when toggling from the host view to the GUI view within Blue Express, due to the text not being rendered correctly.

This problem can be overcome by changing the background colour of the Blue Express emulator screen. To do this,

  1. In Blue Express, open the menu View > ColorStudio.
  2. Change the value in the "Field" popuplist to "Background"
  3. Then choose a colour from the palette and drag it with the mouse onto the emulator screen.

This will change the background colour to allow recognition of the text.
