How do I avoid the "Type Mismatch" error when using DB_FetchNext() in SilkTest?

How do I avoid the "Type Mismatch" error when using DB_FetchNext() in SilkTest?

The DB_FetchNext() method will expect the data type that it encounters in the first row to be consistent in each subsequent row of a column. For example, if the first item it encounters is an integer, then DB_FetchNext() will expect the rest of the data items in this column to be of type integer.

This error will still occur even if you try to use the "Anywin" datatype.

The work around for this scenario is to ensure that all the data items in each column in the database are of the same type.
