How do I deal with a VBForm MDI window when the SilkTest defaultBaseState fails?

When dealing with VBForm MDI windows, SilkTest, as part of the default BaseState process, is trying to close a child window which is not closable, this results in a failure to set the application back to the default BaseState.

As a workaround , you should declare the problem child window(s) in your include file. To do this, uncomment the constant lwLeaveOpen as part of the MainWin declaration and add the problem child window(s) to the MainWin lwLeaveOpen constant like so:

[-] window VBMDIForm MyMainWindow
    [ ] tag "This is a vb app"
    [ ]
                [ ]  const lwLeaveOpen = {ChildWin1, CustomWin("[AfxOleControl42]#1|$0")}
