How may I use the ~ (tilde) operator in a multitag?

How may I use the ~ (tilde) operator in a multitag?

The tilde character used in conjunction with the | character forces SilkTest to examine the next level of a multiple tag. Without the ~, SilkTest only evaluates the first segment of a multi-tag. By default, the pipe character (|) only examines the first segment of a tag, and ignores the second segment. However, if you put a tag construct (~) in front of a GUI object, SilkTest"s tag resolution is forced to examine the first and next segment.

Example:

tag "Software - Home~|#1"
