How to manually enable Rumba Plugin for Silk Test

When enabling the Rumba plugin, if you encounter the following error:

"Could not find the Silk Test installation" you may need to install the Rumba plugin manually.

To do this, you can follow the steps below:

1) Create a directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Micro Focus\RUMBA\System\PLUGINS\MicroFocus_SilkTest_Rumba_TechDomain_Plugin

2) From C:\Program Files (x86)\Silk\SilkTest\ng\rumba\plugin
copy the files with the matching Rumba version to the newly created
directory

3) Rename deployRumbaPlugin.xml to deploy.xml
4) edit the xml and make sure that the plugin tag contains 'enabled="true"'.

You will now have successfully manually installed the Silk Test Rumba Plugin. Make sure to enable this before testing your Rumba application.
