How to reset the Silk Test Workbench Admin password

How to reset the Silk Test Workbench Admin password

If you are attempting to login to your Silk Test Workbench SQL Database using the default Admin account, but you receive the error "Invalid Password", then the user account password has been changed. 

If you do not know the new password, then you can recover the Admin password by resetting it to the default value 'admin'. To do, run the following SQL Query against your Silk Test database. It is recommended that you ask your Database Administrator to perform this action.


USE [DatabaseName]

GO 

UPDATE [STW_USERS]

   SET [TPPASSWORD] = 0x68FA774D49E3F2FAB043FBD30A853C9C21E810CD6C981E0C0C4109EE35B71DD1

WHERE [TPFULLNAME] = 'Administrator'

GO
