How to run SilkTest 13.5 Classic Agent on Windows 2012?

SilkTest 13.5 Classic Agent is only supported for Win32 application running on Windows 32bit OS like Vista-32 or Windows 7-32. It does not support Windows 64bit OS like Windows 2012.

If it is still required to run Classic Agent scripts on Windows 2012, the SilkTest executable application needs be setup as “Windows 7 compatibility mode” as below:

SilkTest 13.5 Classic Agent does not support Win32 applications on Windows 64bit OS, there may be some unpredictable results when running in Windows 7 compatibility mode. For example, functions: SYS_GetName() and GetGUIType() return improper values: "Win2008 R2" and "Win2008 R2 64" under Windows 2012.

To solve those issues, we suggest the customer to migrate to SilkTest Open Agent on Windows 2012.
