Is it possible to get the value of a text property of an object that is not recognized by SilkTest?

Is it possible to get the value of a text property of an object that is not recognized by SilkTest?

If the object under consideration is a custom or 3rd party control, then the standard method of getting properties using SilkTest can"t be used.

The workaround in this case is to capture a bitmap and extract text using SilkTest"s Optical Character Recognition (OCR) features. For more information on capturing bitmaps, refer to SilkTest"s help topic "Capturing a bitmap during recording". To use OCR, you must include the ocr.inc file in the testscript (or include file) and give a call to OcrGetTextFromBmp() as follows:

OcrGetTextFromBmp (sOcrText, sBitmapFile)

where

sOcrText = The result of converting bitmap to text.

sBitmapFile = The bitmap (.bmp) file to convert.
