Log Error: *** Error: Window '[DialogBox] Program Manager' was not found when executing a SilkTest script using Terminal Services

PROBLEM:

When running SilkTest scripts via TM ART using Terminal Services, explorer.exe (windows process) does not launch. Scripts that interact with the desktop or start bar report the error "Window '[DialogBox] Program Manager' was not found" as these objects are not available via Terminal Services.
Resolution:

SOLUTION:

There are two solutions for this issue:

1. Remove the code from the SilkTest script that interacts with the desktop or start bar, then, set the recovery system or an application state within SilkTest to launch the application. See SilkTest HELP for more details.

2. Add code to the SilkTest script to launch explorer.exe process. This would involve using the SYS_Execute command see SilkTest HELP for more details.
