Silk4NET hangs when highlighting a control from an Object Map

When attempting to highlight a control from an Object Map using the "Highlight" button, Silk4NET will intermittently highlight the control but consistently enter a non-responsive state. This behaviour is generally indicative of a synchronization problem with the application under test and can be resolved by setting the "Synchronization timeout" to 0.

To set the Synchronization timeout to 0:

  1. Select "Edit Options" from the Silk4NET menu
  2. Click the "Synchronization" tab
  3. Set the "Synchronization timeout" value to 0, see below
