SilkTest 15.5: Why are Excluded Objects not ignored when running Rumba Screen Verifications?

SilkTest 15.5: Why are Excluded Objects not ignored when running Rumba Screen Verifications?

If Rumba Screen Verifications are failing during replay, even when the only changes on the GUI relate to objects that should be excluded from verification, then its likely you have encountered a known issue that affects Silk Test 15.5.

Technically, the text of the excluded object is being excluded on one level; however the text object for the entire Rumba Screen(which includes text of all objects) is still being considered. If the text in the excluded object has changed since recording it will inevitably result in the failure of the Verify method.

There is currently no workaround available for this problem, which will be resolved with the release of Silk Test 16.0.
